The Lautner edge brings the water flush with the deck and lets it slip over a knife-edge into a hidden slot. It is the most demanding detail in the trade: millimeter tolerances across the whole perimeter, tuned hydraulics, and stone cut to hold the line. We have built more of these than anyone in the Valley.
